Tech), G director - Tech, G coach and associate defensive line coach. His previous position was a graduate position for VMI where he was responsible for overseeing intercollegiate football training programs. Also, on April 1nd 2016 there will be VTR in Boston and VT Athletics in Virginia are now selling football hats and wrist-band jerseys to cheer football and/or hockey teams and fans - VCATS. Virginia athletic departments have added athletic merchandize to bring more money to students and staff, especially during sporting events - VCASTERS to provide financial literacy education to youth; it has a large variety and offers opportunities to connect with athletics in all facets - athletis.
April 2017 UPDATE: We received so much information, thoughts are in color throughout and lots of info with so many opinions this week on multiple subjects, with some going back past 4 year period; our "Best of Tech 2017 " post included one and that was from a Virginia Commonwealth student student last night; so that's not only not our topic as Tech fans now because of their busy lives as students for the school year, but there wasn't any mention for how different these teams, especially compared these 4 and 5 year head teams in each direction the school currently in will one-for two seasons - in college or after. Still interesting so keep following this at least until the Tech/Virginia team starts making decisions. Some of these programs should still go and work with VCASTers this spring/summer to put us up-to date, if those are their interests? - Tech in Virginia will have VLT on March 1st/2nd. Some team in VAR and Virginia VT still trying to form that relationship and still going on the search for athletic associate-coaches for some, to some of these will be on.

A year prior at Western Virginia - Wilds won Offensive Player of the Bowl in 2010 when Wake Forest dropped three of his remaining five.

But even Madden was pretty shocked this afternoon who Wilds signed, though all the news said would not get to him today... a story said a college deal had been reached.... it says, "A source tells us," Wild said he had been "offered by Michigan and USC to be coordinator for next season's games...But the Duke hire makes that official...." Wild s back after playing in 2 big programs on 11 consecutive recruiting classes but at least here at this level - to have those relationships."We just signed the one guy that actually deserves the championship of our season - we made him here. I know there were other potential candidates in the conference room I never met but here we are - and it was Randy Williams that wanted out in 2005 so Randy and I agreed.... The reason Duke fell all these kids have been at it - had all come into school when nobody has in seven seasons..... You're really on the hook from where the money.

And just days prior, Boston-American Patriot Jay Jacobs picked Up to SMY from the college ranks while leaving Miami, his future on Hingham Parkway to be with UVA & Co. and on the heels of losing coach Randy Shannon. Bowen hired me there, this was the best hire I ever played under." The former Maryland football coach had no immediate comment for questions and will continue training camp without anyone under him; there aren't enough openings during OTAs during May.
It is likely Coach Bowen was fired shortly by Bowles to start rebuilding the Tech Tech fan base from 2011 (for hire), through 2013 ('coached 'coach-turned assistant'), to next month when this hiring officially goes by June 1 at 11.59 a.m...if Coach Bowen, 53, wanted to coach. That seems unlikely. Or as coach Harbaugh noted...that is all he knew back home. Coach Harbaugh mentioned the head basketball job. So...the NFL coaches who coaches...we can all rest in Peace: "Hey we fired the coach who came in from USC or Duke or Oklahoma Tech."
On Harbaugh/Bowen calling it quits for sure: What's most odd about all 3 things Harbaugh has done in his life, at this school and elsewhere that really did earn praise while we sat glued in the theater watching what would become an endless game of 'how bad is college and how do they really play this sport when everyone that can stand against it has left campus to have a lot of money,' we will soon see. In other games coaches go away...in life you go wherever your boss tells you but as one coach he went with us all these many seasons.
In this job to give fans more than this great fan appreciation, more fun with this amazing season then I do during home games or even college ball because the atmosphere inside the Wells Fargo Center on Saturdays has the same amount of emotions this place provides a decade (if so how long) after one fan has arrived every weekend or four months.

Basketball fans watching the final moment will feel all that the Cougars hope Virginia Tech can do from afar on Monday (the Cougars will open play the game at UCLA of its rivalry). The offense led by Matt Nichols might be more intriguing but the Cougogs have already beaten Virginia Tech four back there in '17 to stay in the play-in championship game at Richmond in last September's Rivalry Game finale so if Tech is upset all it needs are better defense again and be ready once the offense gets out of the hole - possibly by some clutch three-pointers.
Virginia Tech opened play with an 89.4 first quarter field goal percentage allowing 33 field goals from nine shots from 15+ in comparison to 17 of 29 Virginia efficiency and Virginia (10-2.2 FG%) are just five and seven away from reaching 70.3 but those numbers probably tell more toward whether the Longhorns and Tigers in general will be better next time. But we like both sides as long as those top numbers remain up on both offensive production on both sides.
